About your instructor

Rob is a Director of Architecture with over 20 years of experience in leading the design and implementation of software for a broad array of industries, from financial services, to manufacturing, to retail and travel. He has served in such prominent positions as Director of Architecture for Monster.com, and Manager of Applications Development at Fidelity Investments. In these roles, and throughout his consulting career, Rob has provided leadership on technical strategy and tactics as it pertains to web service and API design, REST, SOA, mobile application architectures, cloud computing, and distributed systems engineering at “Internet scale.”

He is a frequent presenter at major technology conferences throughout the world, and the author of Service Design Patterns: Fundamental Design Solutions for SOAP/WSDL and RESTful Web Services.
